Is this book a field guide or classroom text?
Although the book was designed as a field guide, some trainers have used it as a text in their classes because it covers almost everything NFPA 470 identifies as a first responder competency.

No. There has not been sufficient customer interest to make creating instructor manuals cost-effective.
Does this book contain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dealing with hazmat incidents and terrorist events?

While The First Responder’s Field Guide to Hazmat & Terrorism Emergency Response does provide brief hazard information and guidelines for dealing with products in the various DOT hazard classes, this comprises only a small portion of the book.
